Residential

The first impression to your home

Your front doors present the first impression to your home. Maintaining them in top shape is a challenge with our many days of strong sunshine, high humidity and sometimes salty air. How do you keep them looking their best?

Refinished, not replaced

We specialize in maintaining the beauty of your doors. If the finish just needs a bit of re-freshening every year or two, or they need a complete refinishing, we will answer your questions, give referrals from satisfied owners, and show you pictures of successful completions.

Whether you’re looking to have your front entry doors refinished, or your pool and patio doors refreshed by adding a clear coat to bring back the color after years of the sun fading them, we can bring them back to when they were new.

We use care to protect adjacent areas, safely remove the old finishes with dustless sanding and soda blasting on delicate areas, and apply generous coats of top-rated and environmentally friendly varnishes formulated for years of service.

We do not advertise as being the best, we’ve been proving it since 2008.

Dark mahogany residential entry door refinished in University Park

Around the house

Anything with a finish that the Florida weather has got to.

Front entry doors

Single doors, double doors and carved mahogany entries taken back to an even, deep color and re-sealed against the sun.

Sidelights & transoms

Refinished alongside the entry so the glazing surrounds match rather than showing their age next to a fresh door.

Pool & patio doors

A clear coat restores the color the sun has bleached out of lanai and patio doors, without a full strip in most cases.

Garage doors

Wooden garage doors refinished to match the front entry, so the whole street elevation reads as one piece.

Fiberglass & Therma-Tru

Restored to factory-like new depending on condition. If the finish comes off white underneath, it’s likely fiberglass — and we can help.

Annual re-freshening

A light maintenance coat every year or two is far cheaper than a full refinish and keeps the door from ever getting bad.

What to expect

1

2–3 days, typically

For an average sized door, depending on size, damage and weather.

2

You don’t need to be home

Once the seals are off and the doors are taped, they can be locked until the job is finished and the seals go back on.

3

Hardware first, if you’re changing it

Replace before we start so modifications can be made. If it’s staying the same, the order makes no difference.
